Atlanta, GA (February 18, 2009) -- On Friday, February 20, 2009, the top names in the hair industry will convene in Atlanta on the eve of the 2009 Winter Bronner Bros. International Hair Show for an evening of entertainment and networking, hosted by The Healthy Hair Architect, Tamisha “Mimi” Armstrong.
Taking place at one of Atlanta’s newest and trendiest night spots, 404 Lounge, industry image-makers from across the country will be greeted by celebrity stylist and hair guru, Tamisha “Mimi” Armstrong. “I wanted to reignite the local beauty industry scene as well as network and mingle with out of town industry professionals. It’s important to stay faithful, creative, innovative and motivated in this current economy, what better way than amongst your industry peers!” stated Mimi. The Healthy Hair Architect will also be showcasing her work with live models. Guests will also be able to schedule an appointment or initial consultation on-site via The Healthy Hair Architect’s virtual reception area.
Mimi’s flat irons have styled some of the most influential trendsetters including Fitness Guru Donna Richardson Joyner; Celebrity Event Planner I’na Saulsbery; and Barackawear Founder Lorielle Broussard. Her work has been featured in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Atlanta.Metromix.com, Necole Bitchie.com, Salon Digest and the cover of Black Enterprise magazine. In addition to running her successful hair boutique, Mimi travels as a Design Essential Instructor, training and educating aspiring stylists from Atlanta to Houston.
The “Welcome to Atlanta” cocktail reception will take place, Friday, February 20, 2009 from 8 pm to 11 pm at 404 Lounge on 1270 West Peachtree St., Atlanta, GA 30309. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served along with special cocktails provided by Remy Martin Cognac. Music will be provided by the World Famous G-Mack.
